Congratulations to “Killers of the Flower Moon”
Oscar Nominations!
“Killers of the Flower Moon” has been nominated for ten Academy awards, including a Best Actress in a Leading Role nomination for star Lily Gladstone, who is the first Native American to be nominated for best actress in the nearly 100-year history of the Academy Awards. Gladstone, who is NiMíiPuu (Nez Perce) and Siksikaitsitapi (Blackfeet) heritage, became the first Indigenous actor to win the Golden Globe award for Best actress in January.
At Pendleton, we are especially excited that the costume designers for Killers of the Flower Moon have been nominated for an Academy Award. We worked closely with this team, and we will be cheering them on when the Oscars air on Sunday, March 12, 2023.
