Welcome to Summerland

World of Wildflowers

We’re unveiling a new blanket today, just in time for Spring—Summerland.

The Summerland Trail is in Washington’s Mount Rainier National Park, voted “Best Wildflower Spot in the USA" by 1889 Magazine. Forested switchbacks give way to views of Little Tahoma and colorful tarns. Shimmering bands of color represent the wildflowers blanketing the hillsides in late summer—saxifrage, asters, mountain daisies, and so many more.

A footbridge crosses Fryingpan Creek, where Green Darner dragonflies flit above the water on iridescent wings that are as colorful as the blooming wildflowers. The Green Darner makes a fitting motif for this blanket, as it is Washington State’s official insect.

This large dragonfly is one of the most abundant in North America, with a range that stretches far south—all the way to Panama. You can see its influence in the blanket colors, especially in the flash of turquoise on its head.

Summerland is offered in multiple sizes, King, Queen and Twin. You can add matching shams to create a full bedding ensemble. Like most blankets woven on our jacquard looms, Summerland is fully reversible for two different looks in one blanket. So are the shams!
