The Washougal Mill Store is one of Pendleton’s largest. When you step onto the wooden floorboards of this historic building, you’ll know you’re in the West. Shop an extensive selection of Pendleton goods, including men’s and women’s apparel, accessories and gifts, and world-famous wool blankets and throws. You will also find that Washougal is one of two locations that receive shipments of blanket seconds, so be sure to ask a store ambassador to help you find exactly what you’re looking for.

Washougal is a small town that sits on the banks of the Columbia River at the entry to the scenic Columbia River Gorge. Pendleton has been weaving the virgin wool fabrics used in Pendleton products in the Washougal Mill since 1912. Running three shifts a day, the mill’s 190 employees keep the dye house, looms and sewing rooms humming. When tours are available, visitors can watch the entire process from start to finish, from dyeing to the final hand-finishing of a blanket. This is a unique experience that Pendleton is proud to share.
